Gym Software Upgrade

From Wednesday 20th May 2026, all three Boulder Co. gyms are moving to new gym software.

This will be huge improvements to our systems, and make life easier for everyone.

As part of the switch we will be requiring all visitors to re-sign a waiver (don’t worry it doesn’t take long). This can be done on or after 20th May in-store or online.

Signing a waiver will be much easier for parents or those signing for under 18s than it was previously.

On Tuesday 19th May, we will not be able to accept new memberships or class bookings, as we will be initiating our switch.

We’ve worked long and hard researching, planning and implementing this change. This switch will improve a range of features for climbers, including waiver process, membership management, classes, coaching, and much more.

Please be patient and kind to our staff as we all learn the ins and outs of the new system! We might be a little slower than usual for a day or two.

FAQ

The new software brings several improvements that make things easier for both you and us.

  • Adults can sign waivers and attach children to their account (rather than having to complete separate waivers/profiles.
  • You’ll have a single profile across all Boulder Co. gyms.
  • The customer portal makes it simple to cancel, edit, or freeze your membership, as well as update your information and much more.
  • For classes, we can now offer term-based series where you pay once and you’re enrolled for the whole term.

We can’t transfer signed waivers from our old system to the new system, so everyone needs to complete a new waiver. Annual waiver signing is considered best practice for climbing gyms, it’s a great opportunity to refresh your understanding of the risks, and it only takes a moment!

We have a short window during the switchover when we download data from our old platform and upload it into RedPoint. During this time we’re unable to process payments for memberships, passes, or classes. We’ll be back up and running as quickly as possible, thank you for your patience!

If you’re an existing member, your details will be migrated across automatically. For this reason it’s best to use the email or phone number you used when signing up initially.
When you come in to sign your new waiver (or do this from home) the new system should find you, and assign the new waiver to your migrated profile.
If the new system can’t find you, don’t worry! Just fill out the waiver as if you are a new climber and we can merge your accounts later.

Yes! Your existing membership and any unused passes or class bookings will be transferred to our new system. If anything looks incorrect after the switchover, please speak to a staff member and we’ll sort it out.
We are keeping our existing system live for a period of time, so we can always refer back to bookings and purchases.

Please let a staff member know as soon as possible and we’ll update your profile. The more common issues are likely to be email addresses or contact numbers, so it’s worth double-checking these when you first log in.

Our new system means you can sign a waiver on behalf of your children or those you sign for as a guardian, and children can be linked directly to a parent or guardian’s account.
This makes signing waivers and managing bookings much easier. When you go to sign your waiver you are prompted at the beginning to add any child profiles.

For those being billed between the 20th and 23rd of May, payments may be delayed. This means that while your ongoing payment date should be the same, this singular payment may be billed a couple of days late.
