Climbing classes are a fantastic, social way to develop your skills.

We have a variety of adult classes to choose from, so you can attend a class most suited to your ability level or goals.

FREE Intro to Bouldering Sessions

Open and free to all new Boulder Co. members. This session will take you through the basics of bouldering, with some guidance on safety, movement and progression. Meet some other new climbers, and get started on your climbing journey!
○ Icebreaker & proper warm up
○ Falling & downclimbing
○ Basic climbing technique
○ Bouldering drills
○ ‘Working’ a problem together

Mondays from 6:00pm-6:45pm

Social Sessions

These sessions are free for members! Usual day pass rates apply to non-members. No bookings required.

Starting 27th February.
Friday evenings are your chance to meet other climbers and have a social send together. We meet at spray wall at 6:00pm.
After climbing, continue your convos in the bar with Happy Hour starting at 7:30pm.
Every Wednesday from 6pm.
Social sessions with Bella.
This is an opportunity to meet other climbing wāhine, trade stories, skills and work on some projects together.
Enjoy our Wednesday night bar specials after your climb together!
 
Every Thursday 10-11:30am.
Let’s keep you climbing and sending, with your little one(s) in tow.
These social sessions are for any parent with little ones between 0 and 2 years-old who would like to climb with other parents.

Courses and Workshops

A lot of climbers reach a plateau, they can’t get past a certain grade even though they climb regularly. These targeted small-group gym classes, led by our personal trainer & climbing coach Ilya, will take you through the exercises, movements and training to build strength, power and mobility for progress on the wall.
 
Restarting in 2026 on Wednesdays at 6pm
 
Come along to any single class, or get maximum gains and book for the series.
 
Classes are only $15 per class (plus membership or a day pass).
 
Each week has a key focus area:
Week 1: Overhang tension training  – 18 Feb
Week 2: Core stability & tension – 25 Feb
Week 3: High-feet/hip mobility – 4 Mar
Week 4: Power generation/explosiveness – 11 Mar
Week 5: Compression strength – 18 Mar
Week 6: Building up climbing strength – 25 Mar
