I’m originally from Russia but I’ve lived in New Zealand most of my life. I’ve been climbing for around eight years now, and the sport has completely shaped who I am.
Alongside climbing, I’ve been a qualified personal trainer and a climbing coach for about three years.
I love helping people reach their goals in all aspects of fitness. Whether your training is for rock climbing or for something completely different I love helping you figure out a way to help you get there.
I love all styles of climbing, from gym sessions to days on rock, and I’m always down for a trip to Castle Hill!
What keeps me hooked is not just the challenge, but the process, breaking things down, learning smarter ways to train and helping others unlock their potential on the wall.
For me, climbing is about passion, problem-solving, and community. I do have a soft spot for old-school crimp tension climbs, but I also love throwing myself at a coordination dyno now and then.
My biggest piece of advice? Climb with friends. They’ll help you see new perspectives, figure out beta you may have missed and make every session way more fun!
